CVE-2025-25216

Local service interruption via unvalidated firmware input

Published Nov 11, 2025 · Updated Nov 11, 2025

Improper input validation in Intel Graphics Drivers and Intel LTS kernels allows local users to interrupt service through firmware input. Intel has not published the affected firmware interface, input field, validation failure, or whether the interruption is a hang, crash, or reboot. Exploitation requires low-privilege authenticated local access, no user interaction, and attack-specific conditions plus internal knowledge; impacts are limited to low availability loss.
