Remote code execution via unchecked CDA indexes
Published Jul 10, 2025 · Updated Aug 4, 2025
A buffer over-read in Honeywell Experion PKS and OneWireless WDM allows remote attackers to execute code through crafted CDA traffic. The CDA component fails to validate attacker-controlled indexes against buffer boundaries before reading memory. Network access to the CDA service is sufficient, and successful exploitation permits code execution or interruption of safety-critical control operations.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
