Application crash via uncounted null bytes

Denial of service in BoundedInputStream in Netty before 4.1.118.Final allows local users to crash Windows applications. BoundedInputStream treats a zero byte as if no byte were read, so a null-filled environment file bypasses the input limit and makes BufferedReader grow its line buffer. Exploitation requires a local user able to create the probed file on Windows; the resulting memory exhaustion crashes the Netty-based application.
