Unauthenticated file disclosure via unchecked tar symlinks

CWE-59 link following in GPT Academic 3.91 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files through a crafted tar archive. The extract_archive function validates each tar member's pathname but passes symbolic-link members to tarfile.extractall without rejecting their link targets. No authentication or user interaction is required; retrieving the extracted link discloses files readable by the server process.
