Stored script execution via forged privileged request
Published Feb 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Smart DoFollow 1.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to store scripts via a crafted request. Patchstack has not disclosed the affected handler, request parameter, or missing request-validation operation that permits the stored injection. A logged-in privileged user must submit the forged request, after which the stored script executes in browsers that render the affected WordPress content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
