Published Feb 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
CSRF in MetricThemes Munk Sites 1.0.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to install arbitrary plugins through an administrator's browser. The cs_install_plugin and cs_active_plugin AJAX actions accept plugin identifiers without validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to visit attacker-controlled content, after which unwanted plugins can be installed and activated.
