Authenticated script execution via unescaped stored input
Published Feb 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Vasilis Triantafyllou Easy WP Tiles 1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via input. Easy WP Tiles stores attacker-controlled content without sufficient sanitization and later renders it without adequate output escaping; the affected field and handler are undisclosed. Administrator-level access is required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites with unfiltered_html disabled; viewing an injected page triggers the script.
