An unintended proxy issue in all versions of JTEKT ViewJet C-more and GC-A2 allows remote attackers to conduct FTP bounce attacks. JTEKT has not disclosed which FTP command or validation failure permits the HMI to relay attacker-directed traffic to another host. No authentication or user interaction is required, and attackers can use the HMI as an intermediary when its FTP service is network-accessible.
