Authenticated command execution via web interface injection
Published Feb 4, 2025 · Updated Mar 13, 2025
OS command injection in ClearPass Policy Manager 6.11.0 through 6.11.9 and 6.12.0 through 6.12.3 allows remote authenticated users to run commands. HPE identifies the web-based management interface as the vulnerable locus, but does not disclose the endpoint, parameter, or command-building operation that mishandles input. Exploitation requires a remote authenticated user with high privileges and yields command execution as a lower-privileged operating-system user, bounding the result below full host control.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
