CVE-2025-25037Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Credential disclosure via unauthenticated configuration request

Published Jun 20, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2026

Information disclosure in Aquatronica Aquarium Controller System firmware 5.1.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to read administrative credentials. The unauthenticated tcp.php endpoint accepts a POST request selecting TCP_XML_REQUEST and ws_get_network_cfg, then returns network configuration containing plaintext passwords. No account or user interaction is required; the exposed credentials grant controller access that can alter connected devices and aquarium parameters.
