Local service crash via null pointer dereference

Null pointer dereference in Microsoft Windows DirectX Graphics Kernel allows local users with high privileges to crash the system. Microsoft identifies the locus only as Windows Kernel Memory and has not disclosed which pointer is dereferenced or which crafted input reaches it. Exploitation requires local high privileges and interrupts availability by crashing the affected system, without reported data disclosure or modification.
