Information disclosure in Windows NTFS allows physically proximate attackers to read heap-memory fragments through crafted media. Microsoft has not disclosed which NTFS operation places heap-memory contents in the log or the log structure involved. Physical access to attach and later retrieve the media is required, and the consequence is limited to disclosure of heap-memory portions.
