Cross-site scripting in Nuxt MDC before 0.13.3 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through crafted Markdown links. The props.ts validateProp function compares raw href and src values against unsafe protocol prefixes, allowing HTML entities embedded within javascript URLs to evade the deny-list. Exploitation requires an application to parse unvalidated Markdown and render the resulting anchor, exposing page-origin data and permitting page disruption.
