CVE-2025-24967Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Admin-browser script execution via unescaped username

Published Feb 4, 2025 · Updated Feb 4, 2025

Stored XSS in reNgine 2.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The user-management panel stores an unsanitized username and inserts it without escaping into the delete-confirmation prompt. Exploitation requires administrative user-creation access and interaction with the delete control, exposing the victim's session data and authority.
