CVE-2025-24949

Weak-password acceptance via bypassed complexity criteria

Published Apr 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

Weak password enforcement in JotUrl 2.0 allows remote attackers to bypass complexity criteria during the password-change process. The workflow accepts a new password even when it fails the product's complexity rules; the vendor does not identify the affected endpoint, parameter, or validation branch. Exploitation is network-reachable without prior privileges or user interaction, and the resulting weak credential reduces protection against account compromise.
