CVE-2025-2492Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated function execution via alternate URL path

Published Apr 18, 2025 · Updated Feb 24, 2026

Authentication bypass in ASUS Router AiCloud 2.0.0.39 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute protected functions via crafted requests. The lighttpd-based server applies URL-dependent authentication incorrectly, letting an alternate-path GETROUTERINFO request return device details without credentials. AiCloud must be enabled and the router running for at least two minutes; exploitation exposes protected functions and supports command execution when chained with a separate injection flaw.
