Path traversal in Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Data Integration and Analytics before 10.2.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to read files. The UploadFile service accepts a user-controlled file path without neutralizing doubled triple-dot-slash sequences, allowing resolution outside its restricted directory. Access requires high privileges and no user interaction; successful traversal discloses reachable files or directory contents without reported modification or service interruption.
