Unauthenticated node crash via invalid EC public key

Uncaught exception in Ethereum Foundation go-ethereum 1.14.0 through 1.14.12 allows remote attackers to crash nodes during RLPx handshakes. The ECIES handshake passes a peer-supplied public key through crypto.UnmarshalPubkey without checking that its coordinates lie on the secp256k1 curve, so an all-zero key produces unexpected shared-secret results and terminates the process. Any network peer that can reach the peer-to-peer listener can trigger a service interruption without authentication or user interaction.
