Privileged service crash via unchecked MODDN failure

NULL pointer dereference in affected 389 Directory Server releases allows remote authenticated users to crash the LDAP service via MODDN. After a subtree rename fails, the MODDN path does not test a function return value before dereferencing the resulting NULL pointer. Exploitation requires LDAP rename privileges, and the demonstrated consequence is termination of the directory service rather than data access or modification.
