CVE-2025-24799Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Database disclosure via unescaped inventory XML device ID

Published Mar 18, 2025 · Updated Mar 18, 2025

SQL injection in GLPI 10.0.0 through 10.0.17 allows remote attackers to read database data through unauthenticated inventory XML requests. The handleAgent function passes a SimpleXMLElement device ID through dbEscapeRecursive, which leaves non-string objects unescaped before getFromDBByCrit builds the query. The inventory feature must be enabled; injected queries run with the GLPI database user's privileges and can expose stored tokens or credentials.
