CVE-2025-24796Network attack vector

Jail code execution via macro-fetched binaries

Published Mar 6, 2025 · Updated Mar 6, 2025

Code execution in Collabora Online affected releases allows attackers to run arbitrary binaries inside isolated document jails. An enabled document macro can fetch an attacker-hosted executable from a net.lok_allow-approved location and run it as the jailed document user. Exploitation requires administrator-enabled macros and a reachable executable host; execution remains confined to the document jail but can bypass its network-host restrictions.
