Dashboard denial of service via unvalidated layout class
Published May 14, 2025 · Updated May 14, 2025
Improper input validation in Combodo iTop 3.2.0 allows remote attackers to crash a user's start page through a crafted URL. The dashboard save path accepts a supplied layout_class value and persists it without validation, causing a PHP error when that dashboard is next loaded. Exploitation requires a user to open the URL, and the availability impact is limited to that user's welcome dashboard rather than the entire service.
