Reflected XSS via unvalidated popup-selector handling
Published Apr 17, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in WPDeveloper Essential Addons for Elementor 6.0.14 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted URL. In src/js/view/general.js, page-load code passes the unvalidated popup-selector query value to jQuery as a selector and triggers a click. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted link containing popup-selector plus an eael-lostpassword or eael-resetpassword flag, after which script runs in the site's browser origin.
