Database disclosure via unprepared SQL parameter

Published Jan 24, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2026

SQL injection in Tips and Tricks HQ Simple Download Monitor 3.9.25 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract database data. An administrator-supplied parameter is insufficiently escaped before an existing SQL query executes, permitting appended SQL statements; public records do not name the parameter or function. Administrator-level WordPress access is required, and the documented consequence is database information disclosure through blind SQL responses.
