Unauthenticated reflected script execution
Published Feb 4, 2025 · Updated May 11, 2026
Reflected XSS in Brandt OSS WP Mailster 1.8.17.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts via a crafted request. Public records do not identify the affected request parameter or code path; they report insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Exploitation requires a user to follow a crafted link or perform an equivalent action, causing attacker-supplied script to execute in that user's browser under the site's origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
