Browser script execution via unescaped shortcode input
Published Feb 14, 2025 · Updated May 11, 2026
Reflected XSS in CRM Perks support-x 1.1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts into plugin-generated pages. The public disclosure attributes the flaw to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in a shortcode but does not identify the affected parameter or code path. Exploitation requires a victim to follow a crafted link or take an equivalent action, after which the script executes in the victim's browser under the affected site's origin.
