Authenticated command injection via configuration file loading
Published Feb 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025
Improper input validation in Siemens SCALANCE W700 devices before 3.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands. The configuration loader passes insufficiently validated configuration-file input to a shell-command execution path. Administrative device access and a crafted configuration file are required, after which commands run with the device's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
