Credential disclosure via unauthenticated module requests
Published Aug 20, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Authentication bypass in Tenda AC6 V5.0 V02.03.01.110 allows remote attackers to read router credentials through the web interface. The authentication handler exempts /goform/getproductInfo, while its generic getter accepts comma-separated module names and invokes matching getters without authentication. Network access to TCP port 80 is sufficient to retrieve plaintext Wi-Fi and DDNS credentials and other configuration data, but not the administrator password.
