CVE-2025-24472Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated super-admin access via crafted CSF requests

Published Feb 11, 2025 · Updated Aug 5, 2026

Authentication bypass in affected Fortinet FortiOS and FortiProxy releases allows remote attackers to gain super-admin privileges. Fortinet identifies crafted CSF proxy requests as the alternate channel but has not published the specific validation error in the CSF handler. Exploitation requires Security Fabric and prior knowledge of both device serial numbers, after which the attacker controls the downstream device.
