Source-code disclosure via Nginx off-by-slash path handling
Published Feb 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 11, 2025
Path-equivalence flaw in Fortinet FortiPortal allows remote attackers to retrieve source code through crafted HTTP requests. An off-by-slash error in the Nginx configuration treats crafted path variants as aliases for application source files instead of rejecting them. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published impact is limited to source-code confidentiality.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=7.0.0 <=7.0.11
