Permanent-token disclosure via malformed-token logging
Published Jan 21, 2025 · Updated Jan 21, 2025
Sensitive information exposure in JetBrains YouTrack before 2024.3.55417 allows local users to read permanent tokens from application logs. When a malformed permanent token cannot be parsed, the failed parsing path writes the token value to application logs instead of redacting it. Exploitation requires log access and malformed-token processing; disclosure permits use of the token's existing REST API privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
