Sensitive-memory disclosure via out-of-bounds read
Published Mar 11, 2025 · Updated Mar 11, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Illustrator 29.2.1, 28.7.4 and earlier allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory via a malicious file. Adobe has not published the affected parser, function, or invalid boundary operation responsible for reading beyond the intended buffer. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file; exposed memory can reveal information useful for bypassing ASLR, with no reported integrity or availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
