CVE-2025-24417Network attack vector

Session takeover via stored form-field scripts

Published Feb 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Stored XSS in Adobe Commerce 2.4.8-beta1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to take over sessions through crafted form input. Adobe identifies vulnerable form fields as the storage and execution path but has not disclosed the affected fields or the missing validation or output-encoding operation. Low-privileged access is required to store the script, and a victim must view the affected page before browser-side execution can take over the victim's session.
