Network disruption via permissive interface deletion
Published Apr 30, 2025 · Updated Apr 30, 2025
Improper input validation in Bosch Rexroth AG ctrlX OS - Device Admin allows remote authenticated users to delete network-interface configuration. The Network Interfaces handler accepts a crafted deletion request because its allowed-input list permits physical-interface configuration as a target. Low-privileged access to that functionality is required, and successful exploitation can disrupt network connectivity without exposing data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=1.12.0 <=1.12.9
- Affected versionversion=1.20.0 <=1.20.7
- Affected versionversion=2.6.0 <=2.6.8
