Path traversal in ctrlX OS - Solutions allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary files via a crafted HTTP request. The Manages app data function fails to restrict a request-supplied pathname to the intended configuration-storage location. Affected releases are 1.12.0 through 1.12.1, 1.20.0 through 1.20.1, and 2.6.0; a low-privileged account permitted to use the function is required, and exploitation can alter files or interrupt the controller.
