Release-version disclosure via crafted HTTP POST
Published Jul 2, 2025 · Updated Jul 2, 2025
Information disclosure in Nokia Single RAN before 23R2-SR 1.0 MP allows local users to read the exact software release version. A specific HTTP POST to the baseband management interface returns the installed release instead of withholding it from low-privileged callers. Access requires a position within the MNO internal RAN management network and low privileges; the disclosed version enables precise device fingerprinting.
