Authenticated service termination via undisclosed API requests

Published Feb 5, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025

Denial of service in F5 BIG-IP Next Central Manager before 20.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to terminate its Kubernetes service. F5 has not disclosed which API endpoint accepts the requests or how request data reaches the operation that terminates the service. Low-privileged API access is required, and the documented consequence is loss of the node's Kubernetes service without confidentiality or integrity impact.
