Authenticated privilege escalation
Published Nov 11, 2025 · Updated Nov 11, 2025
Improper input validation in Intel Computing Improvement Program before WIN_DCA_2.4.0.11001 allows remote authenticated users to escalate privileges. Intel identifies the affected locus only as Ring 3 user applications and does not disclose the rejected input or the validation operation performed incorrectly. The flaw requires a low-privileged authenticated account but no user interaction or special knowledge, and successful exploitation compromises the host's data and availability.
