CVE-2025-24292Network attack vector

Network access via cross-service RADIUS credential confusion

Published Jun 29, 2025 · Updated Jun 30, 2025

Improper authentication in Ubiquiti UniFi Network Application 9.1.120 and earlier allows remote attackers to access WiFi or VPN services. A RADIUS lookup query accepts a device MAC address registered for 802.1X or MAC Authentication as a credential for Enterprise WiFi, L2TP, or OpenVPN. Both services must be enabled and share the same RADIUS profile; successful abuse grants network or VPN access without an authorized user credential.
