Code injection in Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows 6.3.1.1074 and earlier allows local users to execute code as SYSTEM. The product installer assigns incorrect permissions to a file it uses, allowing low-privileged users to modify content involved in elevated execution. Exploitation requires prior low-privileged code execution on the host and results in SYSTEM-level code execution.
