Device identifier disclosure via insufficient sandbox permissions
Published May 12, 2025 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Information disclosure in Apple iOS and iPadOS allows local users to read a persistent device identifier through an app. The Sandbox Profiles component applies insufficient permission restrictions to app access to that identifier. An app must execute on an affected device, and the disclosed consequence is persistent device identification without file, account, or service access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
