Process crash via crafted WebKit content
Published Mar 31, 2025 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Buffer overflow in WebKit in affected Apple operating systems and Safari allows remote attackers to crash a process via crafted web content. Apple identifies WebKit Bugzilla 286462 but has not disclosed the affected function, buffer, or unchecked memory operation. The target must process attacker-controlled web content, and successful exploitation interrupts the affected WebKit process rather than the whole device.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
