A null-pointer dereference in AirPlay in affected Apple operating systems allows remote attackers to interrupt service over a local network. AirPlay dereferences a null pointer after insufficiently validating network input, but Apple has not identified the affected parser or message field. An unauthenticated attacker must share the target's local network; exploitation causes denial of service, with no reported data access or modification.
