CVE-2025-24144

Local kernel-state disclosure via undisclosed kernel code

Published May 12, 2025 · Updated Apr 2, 2026

Kernel information disclosure in Apple iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS allows local users to leak sensitive kernel state. Apple identifies the Kernel component and says it removed vulnerable code, but has not disclosed the code path or operation that exposes the state. A locally running app and user interaction are required; the reported consequence is kernel-state disclosure without integrity or availability impact.
