Sensitive data disclosure via unredacted log entries
Published May 12, 2025 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Information disclosure in Notification Center in Apple macOS allows local users to read sensitive data through a local app. Notification Center writes log entries without sufficiently redacting private data, exposing that data to applications. Affected releases are macOS Ventura before 13.7.6, macOS Sonoma before 14.7.6, and macOS Sequoia before 15.5; exploitation requires user interaction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
