Removable-volume access via insufficient Sandbox permissions

A permissions flaw in Apple macOS Sandbox allows local users to access removable volumes without the required user consent. Apple has not disclosed the affected Sandbox policy or the permission check that fails to enforce consent before an app accesses a removable volume. A locally running app is required on Ventura before 13.7.3, Sonoma before 14.7.3, or Sequoia before 15.4; the bounded impact is unauthorized volume access.
