CVE-2025-2408Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Sensitive information disclosure via unchecked GraphQL subscriptions

Published Apr 10, 2025 · Updated Apr 10, 2025

Access-control bypass in GitLab 13.12 through 17.8.6, 17.9 through 17.9.5, and 17.10 through 17.10.3 allows remote attackers to read restricted data. The workItemUpdated GraphQL subscription resolves and returns work-item fields without applying the group IP restriction enforced by direct queries. A group must enable IP restrictions, and an attacker must obtain or enumerate a work-item global ID and wait for an update; the resulting impact is limited to disclosure.
