Use-after-free in Microsoft Windows DNS Server allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through dynamic update messages. During dynamic-update processing, a race permits the server to access an object after its memory has been freed; Microsoft has not named the function. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated attacker to deliver an update at a critical time, after which code runs in the DNS Server context.
