Command injection in Microsoft Azure CLI 2.0.0 through 2.68.0 allows local users to elevate privileges through generic update arguments. Core generic-update handling follows attacker-chosen object properties with getattr, allowing traversal into private attributes or callable methods instead of restricting access to data fields. Exploitation requires local invocation with a crafted property path, and successful abuse grants elevated privileges on the host.
