Cross-site scripting in Joplin 3.2.6 through 3.2.11 allows local users to execute arbitrary code through an untrusted note. The Rich Text Editor's HTML sanitizer re-emits comment data without escaping angle brackets, letting browser parsing end a comment early and activate embedded event handlers. Exploitation requires a user to open the note in the Rich Text Editor; the resulting script can access the top-level Electron window and invoke Node.js functions.
